dr. J. (Jetske) A. Bouma

Jetske is the program leader of the Environmental Policy Instruments program and of the Integrated Policy Evaluation program and she is project leader of various projects related to the design and evaluation of Dutch agricultural, food and nature policy. Jetske cooperates with various universities, and supervises several PhD students, one evaluating the effectiveness of behavioral interventions and the other assessing the potential of price incentives for influencing food choice behavior. In the past year, she assessed the policy options for stimulating nature-inclusive agriculture and considered the design of the new Common Agricultural Policy. Previously, Jetske led work on "Inclusive Green Growth" for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, including investigations into public-private partnerships, sustainable land use and the financing of ecosystem restoration.
