HARBERS, Arjan M. Sc. Arjan HARBERS (MSc) is an urban planner and designer. Since 2006, he has been working at PBL Netherlands Environmental Assessment Agency. He has conducted research on topics such as sustainable urbanism, mixed use urbanism, small scale urbanism, European urban planning, Chinese urban planning, cross border planning, airports, urban metabolism and deprived neighbourhoods.
From 1998 until 2006, he worked for internationally renowned architectural offices in Rotterdam, Zurich and Brussels. Since 2010, Harbers has been a member of the board of editors of the Dutch journal on urbanism S+RO.
