Nature policy as a controversy: The Changing political and societal context and the Nature Outlook

Since the cabinet Rutte got into office, the politization of nature policy in the Netherlands has become manifest. In this article a sketch of the situation is presented and some possible explanations for this politization are discussed.

The way the Nature Outlook of PBL has been set up, is discussed and the question whether this Outlook is an adequate response to the politized situation.
